On April 21, Sintana Energy Inc. provided an update with regards to the on-going exploration activities at the 2813A and 2813B blocks situated on the Orange Basin in Namibia. The region is regarded as one of the most prospective oil and gas regions in the world. In the fifth update about the exploration work thus far, Sintana Energy announced that it had been successful in concluding the well testing operations at Mopane-1x.

ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. (TSXV: SNM) On March 13, the company hit the headlines after it announced that it had granted incentive stock options to some employees, officers, and other eligible persons in the company. ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. noted that the options had been granted to pick up 26,540,000 shares in the company for an exercise price of C$0.05 each. The options could be exercised up to five years from the date of issuance. On Monday, the stock had been on the radars of many investors and had ended the day with gains of 13%.

Anfield Energy Inc. (TSX.V: AEC) (OTCQB: ANLDF) The company announced on April 9 that it had submitted its production reactivation plan pertaining to the Shootaring Canyon mill to the Department of Environmental Quality of the State of Utah. It was a major milestone for Anfield Energy Inc. since it was crucial for the restart of uranium production at the Shootaring Canyon mill. Following the approval of the mill and the attendant mill refurbishment, the company would be able to start uranium production as well as vanadium production in 2026. Yesterday, the Anfield Energy stock declined by 6%.

HIVE Digital Technologies (TXV:HIVE) The stock had been one of the notable movers yesterday and delivered gains of 8%. On April 8, the Executive Chairman of HIVE Digital Technologies, Frank Holmes, revealed the production figures in a media interview. He disclosed that at the end of March 2024, the company had Bitcoin valued at $160 million on its balance sheet.
