On March 19, Emerita Resources Corp. announced that highly experienced metallurgist Jorge A. Blancko Aviles had joined its Spanish team in the capacity of Director of Metallurgy.

In the news release, the company noted that Aviles boasted a career spanning more than a quarter of a century as a metallurgist and had been involved in both smelting and mine site operations. He holds a Masters of Chemical Sciences from Granada University.

E3 Lithium Ltd. (TSXV: ETL) (OTCQX: EEMMF) The Canadian lithium industry leader came into focus yesterday after it announced its travel and conference schedule. However, the news seemed to have an adverse effect on E3 Lithium Ltd., which declined by 7% amidst a selloff. The company provided a schedule of five events that it would attend during the month of April. It would start with the Trade Canada Trade Mission to South Korea conference in Seoul from April 21 to April 25 and end with the 2024 Energy Transition Metals Summit in Washington, DC, from April 29 to April 30, 2024.

American Lithium Corp. (TSX-V:LI) (Nasdaq:AMLI) The stock had been one of the notable laggards on Tuesday as it suffered from a selloff and ended up with a decline of 7%. On March 26, American Lithium Corp. announced the appointment of a new strategic corporate advisor for its Peruvian operations in the form of Augusto Cauti, a former Deputy Minister of Mines. The company noted that Cauti was an experienced mining executive who had been the Deputy Minister of Mines of Peru from 2019 to 2020. His insights would prove invaluable to the company in navigating the Peruvian market.

Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. (TSXV:GSVR) (OTCQX:GSVRF) Although the stock declined by 4% yesterday, it could be a good time to take a look at the developments from April 8. At the time, Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. announced its financial results for the 2023 fiscal year.

The company reported revenues of $66.1 million for 2023, which represented growth of as much as 79% from the 2022 fiscal year. Additionally, the company noted that it had generated a record production of 3.5 million silver equivalent ounces, which worked out to a rise of 64% from 2022.

AbraSilver Resource Corp. (TSX.V: ABRA) (OTCQX: ABBRF) The company’s stock had been one of the gainers on Tuesday, as it ended the day with gains of 3% amidst significant interest. AbraSilver Resource Corp. announced on March 28 that it had granted a total of 5,680,000 stock options as per its share compensation plan to its directors, employees, officers, advisors, and consultants. One option would entitle the user to pick up a share in AbraSilver Resource Corp. for the price of $0.355 each up until five years from the date of the grant.
