Vortex Metals Inc. (TSXV: VMS) (OTCQB: VMSSF) The company may not have been in the news lately, but on Thursday, the stock surged strongly and ended up with gains of 8%. On May 14, Vortex Metals Inc. provided an update with regards to a correction to the TSX Bulletin Exchange bulletin dated May 7, 2023.

The bulletin was pertaining to the private placement that had been closed on April 25, 2024. Vortex Metals revealed that, inadvertently, it had failed to include the 300,000 units to which an investor had subscribed. The units had been issued and were also included in the final tally in the corrected bulletin.

Lion One Metals Limited (TSXV: LIO) (OTCQX: LOMLF) In light of the 8% gain in the stock on Thursday, it may be a good time for investors to consider keeping an eye on the company. On June 5, Lion One Metals Limited entered the news cycle after it announced that mechanized production of Tuvatu had commenced. Additionally, the company also reported major high-grade gold results from the Zone 5 infill and grade control drilling at the property, the Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project located in Fiji. The company owns the property in its entirety. It was a major milestone for Lion One Metals since it signified a transition into production mining from development mining.

Bravo Mining Corp. (TSXV: BRVO) (OTCQX: BRVMF) On May 28, the company was in the news after it announced that it had concluded the initial drill holes at the T5 and T6 EM (electromagnetic) targets. At the time, Bravo Mining Corp. announced that the assays had already been received for the first drill hole at the T5 target. The pair of targets is located at the company’s 100% owned Luanga palladium + platinum + rhodium + gold + nickel deposit in the state of Para in Brazil. It was also revealed by the company that it had done systematic first-pass test drilling over the previous six months. The Bravo Mining stock jumped by 7% yesterday.

AbraSilver Resource Corp. (TSXV:ABRA) (OTCQX:ABBRF) The stock was in play on Thursday and clocked gains of 6% amidst strong interest. On May 17, AbraSilver Resource Corp. announced that it was going to implement the consolidation of its common shares, which would go into effect upon the opening of the markets on May 22, 2024. The company consolidated five pre-consolidation shares into one post-consolidation share in the move. The consolidation reduced the number of shares to around 124,940,785 from 624,703,913.

Thesis Gold Inc. (TSXV: TAU) (OTCQX: THSGF) Following the announcement from the company on June 5, the stock surged by 5% on Thursday. At the time, Thesis Gold Inc. announced that it had been successful in the completion of the preliminary metallurgical testing of its Lawyers-Ranch project. It was also noted that the company owned the project 100%. In the news release, it was revealed that the program had been devised based on the updated mineral resource estimate dated May 1, 2024.
