The company noted that following the updated resource estimate announced on December 22, 2023, for the Mansounia project in Guinea, the board of directors further updated and revised the development schedule. In Mali, the board of directors of the company re-evaluated the assumptions on the basis of the current operations and noted that the conditions had deteriorated further. Hence, the company expected the current operations to be concluded in June 2026.

Arbor Metals Corp. (TSXV: ABR) There was no news about the company this week, but its stock was nonetheless in action yesterday and clocked gains of 8% for the day. On September 25, 2023, Arbor Metals Corp. announced that its exploration team had made major discoveries at the northern section of the Jarnet Lithium Project.

It was also noted that a number of untested pegmatite outcrops had also been identified in the zone. The outcrops had been situated close to the best samples that had originated from the previous exploration programs.

GoviEx Uranium Inc. (TSXV: GXU) (OTCQX: GVXXF) On March 18, the company made an announcement about the sort of progress that had been made at the Madaouela Uranium Project, located in Niger. While there was no news about Emerita Resources Corp. yesterday, the company made a key announcement on March 19. The company had announced at the time that the seasoned metallurgist Jorge A. Blacno Aviles had joined the Spanish senior management team as the Director of Metallurgy. Aviles had a successful career as a metallurgist in both smelting and mining operations, spanning more than a quarter of a century.
